Ms Heng is a Medical Retina specialist and provides service in diseases of the retina, including consultation and follow up of Age related macular degeneration, prevention advice, Diabetic Retinopathy Screening and treatment, Retina Vein Occlusion treatment and follow up, Central Serous Retinopathy follow up and treatment. She is proficient in cataract surgery and complex retina disease related cataracts and supervises fellows and trainees on her NHS lists. Ms Heng has founded the first retina laser course in Moorfields Eye Hospital. She provides intravitreal injection treatment and lasers for retina diseases and yag capsulotomy. She also sees patients for second opinions.
Ms Heng practices a personalised approach to treatment therapy and works through each case with her patient, going through their detailed medical problems and how holistic care may assist in their ophthalmic treatment. She speaks English, Mandarin, and can converse in Cantonese and Hokkien.
