The selection of patients and planning of treatment, discussion of the implications of treatment, side effects and possible complications of each treatment is crucial in providing the best personalised care for treatment in central serous retinopathy. It is also important to closely monitor treatment responses and need for repeat treatment or switch to alternative treatment as necessary.
